MARSHALL, Minn. — Funeral services for Rosalind Seppi, 60, of Marshall, Minn., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at Rehkamp Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
She died Friday, July 11, 2003 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minn. She was born March 31, 1943, in Lomita, Calif., to Anton Wiljam and Jennie Maria (Mattson) Rantala. As a young child, she moved with her family to Minnesota. She attended school and graduated from Hibbing High School. She then moved to Minneapolis for a time before returning to Hibbing. In April of 1967, she was united in marriage to Ernest Seppi in Hibbing. They moved to Marshall in 1978. She worked for Prudential, then as a dispatcher for the City of Marshall and later the Joint Law Enforcement Center. She was formally a girl scout leader and enjoyed gardening, crafts, handiwork and traveling with her granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest, of Marshall; children: Stacy (Venessa) of Moose Creek, Ala., Kristin of Green Bay, Wis., Ryan of Phoenix, Ariz., and Stephanie of Cottonwood; granddaughters, Jennifer and Jessica; two sisters; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and three sisters.
Arrangements are with the Rehkamp Funeral Home of Marshall.
