Duane Winsor of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Hibbing and Babbitt, passed on Feb. 16, 2019, due to health problems.

Duane was born July 30, 1943, to Michael and Helen (Dilla) Winsor in Hibbing. Duane graduated from Hibbing High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Reserve Mining and LTV Steel until an injury forced him into early retirement. Duane and his wife, Penny, had many wonderful years in Arizona.

Duane was an avid car guy belonging to several car clubs.

Duane is survived by his wife, Penny Winsor of Sun City, Ariz.; daughters: Donna Winsor of Cape Coral, Fla., Jodie (Darin) Pierson of Hibbing, and Miranda Winsor of Hanford, Calif.; son, Dennis (Ale) Winsor of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brother, Merle (Gale) Winsor; sister, Deborah (Michael) Sereno of Hibbing; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael (Butch) Winsor.

Funeral: Per Duane's request, there will be no services.

Burial: His interment will be a Naval burial in San Diego.

Duane will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
