PAT "PEEG" URBIA

 
 

CHISHOLM - Pat "Peeg" Urbia, 34, Chisholm, died Saturday at Hibbing General Hospital. She was born April 28, 1943 Superior/Wis., and was a 1961 graduate of Hibbing High School.

She attended Hibbing Community College and worked at Nide's Finance and Hyde Supply. She had been a Chisholm resident since 1966. She was a reporter for the Mesabi Viking Chapter of the RedDale Camper Club and was an avid bowler and pianist.

She is survived by her husband, Frank, Jr.; a son, David, and daughter, Kristin, both at home; her mother, Virginia Sullivan, two brothers, Dan and Michael Sullivan, and a sister, Sue Azzarello, all of San Jose, Calif.; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. J.P. Sullivan,.Superior.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chisholm, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. at the Rupp Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bud Averill, Ron Hultman, Bob McDonald, Tom Norris, Ron Tolonen and Phil Weber. A Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Chisholm High School, cross-country team, which was coached by Frank Urbia.

"Pat & I were married Dec. 19, 1964.  She passed away in 1978 from an aneurysm.  She was a wonderful, devoted wife and mother to our two adopted children."
