Roberta Goss

Roberta Goss, 64, Roberta "Birdie" Goss, 64, Hibbing, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, in Duluth. She was born July 13, 1942, in Hibbing to John and Mary (Levar) Maras. She married Robert Goss on June 9, 1962, in Hibbing and had made their home in Pengilly until returning to Hibbing in 1994. Birdie loved to spend time with her grandchildren and also enjoyed reading and playing bridge.

She is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Jim) Becicka and Renee' Goss, both of Pengilly, and Wanda (D.J.) Goss, of Keewatin; a sister, Cele Holderness, of Hibbing ; grandchildren: Rob (Amber) Jared, Ryan, Kirsten, Taya and Bailey; a great-grandson, Devin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 2001; her twin brother, Robert "Mort" Maras and sister, Shirley Kilen.

Pallbearers are: Steve Meyer, Tim Klobuchar, John Bacigalupo, Rob Goss, Sam Goss and A.J. Bacigalupo.

Funeral: Services will be at 3:30pm Saturday at the Dougherty Funeral Home. The Rev. Peter Muhich will officiate.

Visitation: Will be at 2:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Burial: Maple Hill Cemetary
